Hope Kids

Hope Kids provides opportunities for children of all ages to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus in a warm, nurturing environment.

“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’”
– Matthew 19:14

What To Expect

At Hope Church we love your kids! From infants to elementary age, we do our very best to help your kids have a blast while learning about God. We value the time we get to spend with your children, so we’ve prepared interactive lessons and games to help them learn about Jesus and remember what they’ve learned. And parents, we constantly strive to help you shape your child’s faith.

Our check-in procedures are state-of-the-art, and our trained and screened children’s workers do all they can to ensure that children and parents have a fun and safe faith-growing experience.

Our check-in volunteers will register you and your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. A Children’s Ministry host can help direct you where to go.

At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag when you pick them up and your child will be released to you. You can feel confident leaving your children with us. (Our volunteers are background checked for safety purposes.) We love kids and it shows! We can’t wait to meet you!

Sundays
Preschool

Sundays - Worship Time (10:00am)

Infants through 2 years old

Our youngest children will learn from their first moments in the nursery that Jesus loves them. Trained and caring volunteers will be available to care for, laugh with and play with your child. We structure Sunday mornings loosely, focusing on the comfort and safety of each child. We read the Bible story of the week to all children who will listen.

Preschool (3 years old through Pre-K)

Preschool age children learn about God through hands-on experiences by well trained, passionate volunteers. We teach Biblical truths through Bible stories, and we respond through fun and exciting music, praying, and praising God for all he has done! Themed activities provide numerous opportunities for volunteers to reinforce Bible truths with children.

Kindergarten through 5th Grade

Children can grow their faith through large and small group experiences. During large group, children participate in music, drama, games, and lessons to learn Biblical truths. We respond through an activity that highlights what we have learned and praise God for all he has done! During grade-level small groups children get to know each other, and adults lead discussions and activities around the Bible truth presented during large group.

First Step Preschool

Monday – Friday

At First Step Preschool our program is designed to promote the development and growth of each child by providing an experience of lasting value.  We provide a safe and nurturing environment designed specifically for the needs of the young child. Our program encourages children to play, discover, and learn. Each child is offered experiences in several areas: cognitive, social, emotional, physical, creative and spiritual. Through a carefully prepared curriculum and selection of materials, each child is encouraged to grow through their interactions with teachers, other students, classroom materials and activities in a Christian based environment.

Purpose

To give children a foundation for their future, families a resource for strength, the church an opportunity to serve and our community a reason for hope.
