Pastor Dan Richter and wife, Erin

Dan has been married for 26 years to his high school sweetheart, Erin. They have four children: two sons and two daughters.  Dan holds a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Nyack Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from Nyack College, where he double-majored in Pastoral Ministries and Psychology.

As a “native New Yorker with a heart for New England,” Dan sees the location of Hope Church as ideally aligned with his calling. His giftedness in the pulpit and love for people is evident the first time you meet Dan.

Dan loves sports and is a die-hard Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Boston Bruins fan. He loves a good cup of coffee, a good book and anything Star Wars, though, theologically, he knows the Force is in Jesus, not in his own strength.
